Slow fashion and Maestros de la Costura.

Maestros de la Costura, the talent show that we enjoy on Monday night at 22:40 h in LA 1 TVE, emphasizes more than ever the importance of sustainability and responsibility for the use and use of materials.

At Francisco Segarra we are proud to collaborate again with Shine Iberia by ceding furniture and decoration for the workshop and haberdashery. Spaces decorated with antiques, recovered furniture, recycled materials and customized pieces; all these things make more sense than ever before this season and more and more in society. Elements that emphasize respect for our environment, quality materials, design and originality.

Sustainable fashion: commitment to quality and respect for the environment.

Fashion and textile industry and trade are undergoing a period of change and redefinition of their values. Awareness of the social responsibility of production processes plays a main role in all retail sectors today.

Against the current context, responsible consumption becomes more necessary than ever and “slow fashion” philosophy emerges. A movement that values proximity production, local talent, quality materials and respect for the environment. A message conveyed to us every Monday night by the renowned members of Maestros de la Costura jury; Lorenzo Caprile, María Escoté and Alejandro Gómez Palomo.

Undoubtedly, it is the perfect example towards the sector should turn to curb the harmful effects of an industry on certain occasions over-exploited. In short, the opposite of excessive consumption, that’s to bet on products with a clear and improved design, made with raw materials of quality and durable over time.

Slow fashion fosters design culture, where small details are of high importance, those that may not be perceived with the naked eye but that certainly make a difference.

A philosophy of life in which everything counts, and not only the result is considered. The whole production process is important and the story behind each design is the greatest differential value of each piece.
