You have to travel kilometres and kilometres of polders, those plains that extend into the sea in the north of Belgium, to find the rural area of Burgs Ommeland; a hidden and favourite place for a charming rural hotel.

It is in this old farm from 1824 that Saskia and David, current owners of the farm, wanted to open a small rural hotel with 6 rooms that meets all the characteristics of Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

The place, completely renovated, has respected the natural wealth of its heritage, and is committed to a calmer, closer and more intimate tourism, also preserving the ecological footprint and the care for the environment.

Wandering along the canals or the coasts with electric bikes. Spending a cultural day visiting the cities of Knokke, Damme, Sluis or Bruges, which are located so few kilometres away. And relaxing comfortly in a place designed with a lot of love and passion.

This is the experience that BbruT. The Hidden Place offers us. An opportunity to connect with the environment and enjoy the vintage decoration of a rural hotel that, from the first moment, invites us to dream…

A renovation project with a vintage touch by Francisco Segarra.

This fantastic renovation project has been carried out in the middle of the intense country green colour. From the outside, we can intuit the past of the building and, inside, we can enjoy its most modern and comfortable updating.

Already in the welcome, we can perceive the very personal and intimate touch the hotel provides.

It seems that everything has been exclusively designed for a serene stay, without complications and in tune with the nature surrounding the place.

The exposed brick walls and beams envelop us in a warm and generous atmosphere. Along with neutral tones, raw materials add to that purpose by revealing their imperfections and rougher features.

Antique wooden tables, aged leather seats… Through the furniture, the charms of the industrial vintage style unfold strongly. Furniture of a great personality and the unparalleled seal of Francisco Segarra.

From the rooms, through the vintage bar or the BBrut shop we are captivated by the decoration of a space that flees from the superfluous to focus on simplicity, humility, and the happiness of small things.
