La Xida. The best of two worlds in an innovative restaurant.
If there is anything that characterizes our “projects” section, it is the wide variety of concepts it contains. In their own way, each of them highlights the importance of interior design in the contract sector. Created with pieces from our catalogue, the places they reveal are worthy of admiration and sharing.
Today, we are once again amazed with the decoration of a restaurant of the most innovative. La Xida comes to our site with a beautiful story and under an explosion of flavours and colours. Find out an unusual fusion and how the tile FS by Peronda adds its special charm to this sophisticated project.
A little gastronomic revolution…
Located in Madrid, specifically in the neighbourhood of Salamanca, La Xida can be proud to be the first restaurant that fuses Mexican and Asturian cuisine. A unique proposal that promises a different and rich in sensations experience.
Behind the concept lies a charming couple, a Mexican woman and an Asturian man, who did not hesitate to bring together their respective culture and gastronomy. The result could not be more attractive. Literally, they managed to merge the best of two worlds in a welcoming space where creativity can be felt in every corner.
From cachopo tacos to tequisidra cocktails! The menu is so original that, without any qualms, dares to mix the two culinary styles with dexterity and much subtlety. A party for all the senses that is enjoyed in a space decorated purposely to accentuate that intercontinental, pleasant atmosphere.
…and highly creative interior design work.
In Mexican, “La Xida” means pretty and beautiful. And the space knows very well to honour its name. The restaurant decoration follows the same guiding thread of the initial concept, bringing together Mexico and Asturias with great delicacy.
From the street itself, the lights indicate that we are facing a different and most welcoming place. Upon entering, the premises opens in front of a beautiful dining room with open kitchen and makes us travel to distant lands.
Rattan lamps, wooden tables, upholstered chairs, wicker decorations… Here, even the materials merge! Together, they evoke tradition, but with successful exotic touches to achieve a complete immersion.
To enjoy a relaxed and comfortable meal, a small corner has been furnished with a long bench upholstered with a warm fabric, very typical in Mexico. In contrast, the floor has been covered with a tapestry made with an original hydraulic effect tile. FS Marais, through its neutral tones, its worn effect and its geometric shapes, fills the atmosphere with great softness.
The bar counter is no exception to this constant dance between the two cultures. Made of rustic wood and in the purest Asturian style, the beautiful ceramic floor tiles that envelop it with colours and foreign lights stand out.
Attractive colours, varied graphics, aged look… This is FS Marrakech, the warmest floor tile in the FS by Peronda collection. With its unique vintage nature, it brings the most amazing finishing touch to the whole project.
This restaurant project breaks moulds and integrates our section with its indisputable charisma. La Xida is a small gastronomic revolution that, through its excellent interior design work, manages to get out of the ordinary.
