With shapes as simple as the mold of the hands that create them. Hands that omit curves, leave out angles, and work with a prodigious ability to obtain the deepest and most beautiful veins of wood.
Inspired by the “udukuri” technique, these tables combine the best of nature, human skills, and the magic of traditional Japanese carpentry.
Elm wood is polished with a metal brush that removes soft tissue and exposes the rough texture and vein of hardwood, and nature’s patterns appear organically.
