Olimpic, Titanic and Gigantic… The story of the world’s most luxury steamship and that of its two sister ships begins on a summer evening in 1907.
The leading British shipbuilder and businessman, Lord William James Pirrie, invited J. Bruce Ismay, chairman of the White Star Line company, at a dinner in his mansion. They talked about their goal and decided to build what would be known as the “Ship of Dreams”.

Titanic… As an important part of the history of navigation, it was designed to solve the numerous shipwrecks of steamships due to the increase of maritime traffic during the 19th Century.
At the top of the foremast, white light; to starboard a green lantern, to port one red. The first signal lamps appeared with the regulation of the navigation lights, and they were made of copper, brass or iron.
Our maritime lanterns preserve their original parts, their lever in use allows to exchange the crystals, red and green, to simulate that light once guided steamships to good port.
