The Vallgornera Castle is in a landscape of green fields, vineyards and rolling hills. Dating back to the 21st century, it is a testament to the rich heritage and medieval beauty of Peralada village in Catalonia.
A privileged location, ideal for designing a small boutique hotel that immerses guests in the surrounding nature. The Vallgornera Castle opens its doors again today… and it does so preserving all its essence.
Likewise, the refurbishment has been approached with the minimum possible interventions to preserve all the authenticity of the castle, giving life to timeless spaces that last generation after generation.

Furniture has played and essential role throughout the development of the interior design project. The historic furniture, carefully preserved over years, is beautifully combined with other more contemporary elements.
Velvet armchairs, wrought iron chairs, golden and aged iron tables… The most vintage pieces in Francisco Segarra’s catalogue look their best here. They also contribute to perpetuating history while embracing modernity, with their own personality.
