The Vallgornera Castle and its outstanding transformation…

The Vallgornera Castle, the origins of which date back to the 12th century, is a symbol of the medieval and cultural heritage of the Catalan town of Peralada. Today, after an outstanding transformation, it reopens its doors and invites us to live a true experience of sensory luxury.

Converted into a boutique hotel, the place preserves its essence, but fuses old and modern with great subtlety, thus creating a unique and cosy atmosphere.

The design has been led by architect Oriol Roselló, interior designer Marta Sánchez from M Proyectos and the interior design department of Badi. A professional team who managed to overcome a real challenge and showed once again that decoration can be truly magical.

In this design, furniture by Francisco Segarra has been key to strengthen the thread of the whole project. Velvet armchairs, wrought iron chairs, old iron golden tables… Pieces of great character that have helped perpetuate history while embracing modernity.
